00.08 Engaging the Shadow in Pisces

In this episode, Michelle and Matt discuss the need to get the mind connected to the body and the unconscious. Mercury entered Pisces on March 15, which is it's sign of fall and detriment, leaving us without much resonant recourse to logic and analysis. Michelle and Matt delve into why this is then a good time to tap into Piscean ways of knowing through divination and mantra, and they pull some tarot cards in order to illustrate the point and the process.

00.07 Cultivating a Uranus Shift

Michelle and Matt delve into how the Saturn Uranus squares of 2021 are teaching us how to adjust our inner expectations toward external circumstances. We all learn early on as as kids how to gauge the responses we're likely to get to our actions. This is necessary to build the confidence in order to act. However, during certain cyclic periods, like when Saturn is squaring Uranus, we encounter situations that challenge those expectations. Using personal examples, Matt and Michelle spell out how we can practice adjusting our expectations in order to raise awareness of the richness life has to offer when we do.

00.04 Neptune Square the Nodes

Michelle and Matt discuss Neptune in Pisces squaring the Moon’s Nodes in Sagittarius and Gemini (exact on January 25), and the need for each of us to regularly experience the metaphysical through regular practice (yoga, meditation, prayer, nature walks, etc). In the 2nd half of the show, they shift to breakdown the conjunction of Mars and Uranus in Taurus happening on January 20, and what that has to say about our individual and collective needs to listen to and honor our inner child, which Taurus can often represent.

00.03 Saturn/Jupiter conjunct in Aquarius

Michelle and Matt discuss the Great Jupiter and Saturn Conjunction in Aquarius on December 21. While people have been linking the upcoming transit to the Star of Bethlehem or the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, it’s one of the foundational cycles of ancient astrology. The two planets align about every 20 years, and tend to form these conjunctions in signs of the same element (earth, air, fire, water) for 200 years at a time. This conjunction marks a shift from earth (since 1802) to air, so Matt and Michelle break down the element of air (mental faculties) and the archetype of Aquarius. In the second half of the show, they pull cards from the Archetypes oracle deck by Kim Krans, to see what messages might be coming through from the collective unconscious.

00.02 Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Michelle and Matt discuss how the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on December 14 is asking us to get in touch with and hone our deeper truths by seeking out trustworthy guides, as well as to own our feelings (and avoid blame and competition) in conflicts over beliefs. They invite listeners to reflect on life experiences during the previous south node eclipses in Sagittarius (back around 2001-2003) to see what seems to be coming up and again in different contexts.
