Michelle and Matt discuss the Great Jupiter and Saturn Conjunction in Aquarius on December 21. While people have been linking the upcoming transit to the Star of Bethlehem or the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, it’s one of the foundational cycles of ancient astrology. The two planets align about every 20 years, and tend to form these conjunctions in signs of the same element (earth, air, fire, water) for 200 years at a time. This conjunction marks a shift from earth (since 1802) to air, so Matt and Michelle break down the element of air (mental faculties) and the archetype of Aquarius. In the second half of the show, they pull cards from the Archetypes oracle deck by Kim Krans, to see what messages might be coming through from the collective unconscious.

Michelle and Matt discuss how the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on December 14 is asking us to get in touch with and hone our deeper truths by seeking out trustworthy guides, as well as to own our feelings (and avoid blame and competition) in conflicts over beliefs. They invite listeners to reflect on life experiences during the previous south node eclipses in Sagittarius (back around 2001-2003) to see what seems to be coming up and again in different contexts.
